The One XL interconnect is a premium audio cable created to extract maximum performance from any connected components. Designed from the ground-up as a wide bandwidth cable, every aspect of this cable's ÿconstruction has been envisioned as a way to eliminate noise, improve conductivity and preserve maximum signal integrity.

Starting with ultra-pure SA-OF8N OFC Copper conductors in Tara's Rectangular Square Core shape, this proprietary shape is said to eliminate all manner of artifacts, both within the conductor and on its surface. The conductors are nestled in an extraordinary spacing structure which leverages air as well as vacuum-filled microscopic glass spheres to minimize the interaction between the signal-carrying conductors and the insulating materials. This gives the magnetic field around the conductors plenty of room to breathe, which is why these cabels are prized for their lifelike, free-flowing and airy sound.

Additionally, the Isolated Shield Matrix leverages high-conductivity pure Silver for near instantaneous shunting of noise to the ground plane. On that subject, the ground plane of these cables is no less of an impressive achievement. Each cable comes with its own Floating Ground Station, a compact aluminum box (a little larger than a box of matches) which serves as an external ground for the shield. By isolating the shield from the ground plane of the system, these cables are able to keep noise from cross-contaminating between components, further lowering the noise floor and greatly improving perception of low-level details as well as enhancing reproduction of spatial characteristics.

The end result of all this engineering is a very wide bandwidth cable which offers the listener a truly immersive experience. Voices are holographic, the high frequencies are airy and clear, bass is rock-solid, deep, tight and well articulated.

Single-Ended cables are fitted with Locking RCAs, which Tara dubs "Torque Lock". On these connectors the barrel of the connector is designed to be loosened so it can slide over the RCA connector and then gently tightened, creating a firm grip on the RCA, but also greatly improving the ground plane.
